Chiyoda International Volunteer Bank（CIVoB）（guidelines for applicants）

We have a volunteer system to support foreigners living and working in Chiyoda Ward and to create international friendship.

CIVoB is a registration file for those who wish to volunteer. Using this file, we hope to be able to introduce proper volunteers to those who need specific help.

Volunteer activities: Interpreters, Translators, Assistants in Japanese language, （Tour） Guides, Helpers in various events, etc...

About registration

If you have an enthusiasm for volunteer activities, feel free to register in Chiyoda International Volunteer Bank (CIVoB).

Both Individuals and Groups are welcomed.

How to submit	You can fill out the Application for Registration of CIVOB at our counter.
Submit to	Chiyoda City Office International Peace and Gender Equality Division
Office hour	Monday through Friday from 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. (Reserved basis)

After registration, we will inform you when we receive requests.

After the activity done, kindly submit Activity Report within 10 days after the activity.

About using CIVoB file

We can help you seeking volunteers who meet your requests.

These services are available for both Individuals and Groups.

After applying, we will search in the CIVoB for the volunteers who meet the desired conditions from the CIVoB file and give you contact information.

Please contact the person introduced and discuss about details of the activity.

Kindly submit Use report within 10 days after the activity.

Notes

• Anybody can register and take advantage of the CIVoB except those who have a purpose of dissemination of particular religious belief and/or political activities.
• There is no remuneration although volunteers may be reimbursed for transportation expenses.
• Your registration will be expired in three fiscal years.
